The Frenzy about Friendzy

Not too long ago, RockeTalk partnered with McDowell’s to bring to you a new face of RockeTalk especially designed for McDowell’s Frendzy T-20 series and IPL.

Friendzy is a cricket lover’s dream app where cricket fans can get together and form communities, discuss the matches, dish out the bad plays and rave about their favourite teams and players. Of course there is always the chance to play contests and win big (or small) prizes sponsored by McDowells. With a fresh new look and a bright home screen, we had a lot of fun doing a custom RockeTalk build for the T-20  series.

Of course, Friendzy on RockeTalk had all the great features that RockeTalk generally offers but the RockeTalk-Friendzy release was in some ways ‘special’.  We decided to add some of the advanced features we had been working on for our regular RockeTalk release like the emoticons, extra recording time (size) for videos and a few user interface (UI) fixes.

So now the T-20 fans can interact with eachother in their voices and have those heated discussions as if they were actually face-to-face. They had access to all other RockeTalk features including unlimited free voice, video, text messaging; maintaining a friends list; meeting and getting to know people; viewing thousands and thousands of profiles with voice and photos; viewing and posting content to the media galleries, joining and creating fan communities or any other communities; playing games like Antaakshri, quizzes, contests; integrated IM for Yahoo, AOL, MSN, GoogleTalk, ICQ.
