Naheed-e-Hind, Nuzhat Nigaar

Nuzhat Nigaar is one of the most charming, amiable, talented contemporary poets. A beautiful voice and a fun attitude, make her presence a treat for audiences worldwide. 

This was a first for most of us on RockeTalk and we were totally floored.  What a treat! A very classical style of presenting her ghazals.

“Barson se tere dil pe mera naam likha hai

Is naam ko hargiz mai.N mitaane nahi doongi”

“Jiwan ke har ik mod pe yaad aaoongi ‘Nuzhat’

Tum laakh bhulaao gay bhulaane nahi doongi”

Sher:

“Mohabbat ko hidaarat se na dekho

Shehan Shaho se ye takra gayi hai”

Megha Kasak

Megha Kasak from Saharanpur, relatively new to the Mushaira scene, took the whole Mehfil by a storm. With a classical singing training, her voice and poetry moved the audience as well as the other poets and moved Naheed-e-Hind, Nuzhat Nigaar, to get up and hug her! Her ghazal was a treat.

“Saaqi ki nigaahon se mat dekh mujhe aisai

Darr lagne lagaa paakiza gulabon se”

And

“Raat phir khwaab me dekha usse rote huae

Aaj phir apne dupatte ko sukhaana hoga”

Members of Mehfil were moved to tears listening to her. They sent their praise to her and her father, Tarun Kasak.

Nazia Sehri

Young, charming, enthusiastic Nazia from Haldwani/Nanitaal’s poetry is unique and upbeat. She has a touch of morality and values that spring up here and there through her shaayari. The audiences - worldwide on RockeTalk and in Muradabad, loved her.  Her ghazal and shaayari was very well received “Moam ka jism liye dhoop me nikla na karo”
